Ace Badminton Club (ABC) is a competitive-level club open to members of the badminton community. It operates on 3-4 month membership terms, with accommodation for limited guest drop-in. It is open to both students and non-students.
ABC runs Friday evening at TMU (formerly Ryerson) in the Kerr Hall Upper Gym from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The gym has 6 courts with hardwood floors, generous spacing and 37-foot ceilings.
For entry to the gym, please use the 'diamond staircase' shown on the Contact Us page . All university doors must stay locked, but we can see those ones from inside the gym and someone will let you in.
ABC is a great place to get competitive games in a premium facility. The quality of equipment and competition is actively managed to ensure everyone gets the best experience.

The skill level of ABC members and guests is between Levels 3-5 of the Skills Matrix, with most around Level 4.

No, we do not offer coaching or courts for drills at this time. The club is for competitive game play only.
Yes, we run a club tournament once per season (winter, spring/summer, and fall). The tournament is free and open to club members only.

Both men's and women's changerooms with showers are available. Lockers are not available.
Ryerson badminton club existing from the early 2000's until 2018, and was largely funded by Ryerson University. In 2019, the university stopped funding the club, and it became a private venture named Ace Badminton Club.
There is still another club at the university for students and RAC members only, not open to the general public.
